Bill Fields is the President of Diamond Management Institute. He is recognized for understanding customers’ needs, analyzing their situations and developing practical, business-oriented solutions. With over thirty-five years’ experience as a hands-on manager in both the public and private sectors, Bill brings a diversity of expertise to every situation.
His fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in the Ontario Government, included designing, implementing and managing employer-based, youth and apprenticeship training programs, as well as formulating public policy, marketing and communication strategies.
In twenty years at Diamond Management Institute, Bill experiences and understands the key drivers and critical imperatives of business. This insight facilitates a proper assessment of needs, ensuring that our assistance to you is focused and targeted. Our solutions are customized to your specific situation and requirements.
Complementing his particular expertise in the strategic and operational aspects of management, Bill continues to be a passionate advocate for linking business goals with ensuring human dignity for the workforce. His fundamental belief is that management’s role is to create the conditions for supporting employees to perform to their maximum capabilities.
Bill has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English Literature from Trent University and attended Graduate Studies in English Literature at McMaster University. In 1992, Bill completed his degree in the Executive Master of Business Administration program at the University of Toronto.
